A recreational marijuana store in Williamstown can open in a few days, after it received the final approval needed by the state Cannabis Control Commission on Wednesday.

Silver Therapeutics in Williamstown received its “commence operations” notice from the commission, giving it the ability to open after three calendar days, which is Sunday or later.

The company also has a provisional license to open a recreational store in Orange, and according to its website, has plans to open a location in Greenfield.

Williamstown, located in the northwest corner of Massachusetts, sits on the borders of New York and Vermont.

When it opens, Silver Therapeutics will likely be the 16th store in the state and one of four near the state’s western border.
